Machu Picchu. One of my friend that once went on a school two weeks study session, told me that this is one of the most amazing place to go see. And, once you get to the top seeing the whole scenario just melts away all the exhaustion. Machu Picchu was built by Incas, who later abandoned the place to Spanish Conquest and no one knew about it’s existence. Until 1911 when an American Historian, Hiram Bingham, discovered. Until today many anthropologists, archaeologists and professionals are still working on the site to rebuild some structures.

Not exactly sure if I’m going to see a view exactly like this photo, but any view for me is pretty. This is the city Vrindavan also known as the city of widows. Many widows make voyage to this city to live and follow a routine of daily lives, in which includes prayers. Additionally, the city is full of Hindu culture and is the place where Lord Krishna, a deity, spent his childhood growing up. Photo Credit: Vrindavan-dham.com

The Yi Peng festival or lantern festival in Chiangmai, Thailand. According to a friend, the people in Chiangmai celebrate this festival as they would release lanterns into the sky instead of releasing little lotus flower shape onto water. It’s a festival to bring good luck and making homage to the Buddha. Sadly, there isn’t an exact date when the festival takes place. Instead it is announce prior to a few weeks. However, an international celebration is hold for tourists. This is something I would like to do and go see if I ever go visit Thailand.
